New Objectives of BMI Strategy Identified in Strategic Intelligence Conference

On the second day of the Strategic Intelligence Conference, the new objectives and concepts of Bank Melli Iran (BMI)’s strategy were reviewed and identified, the Public Relations Department of Bank Melli Iran (BMI) reported.

This prestigious Conference was attended by the members of the Operating Boards of Bank Melli Iran, heads of the Department Generals and Branches Affairs of the bank as well as other senior directors of Bank Melli Iran.

In this Conference, the senior managers and experts of different districts and affiliated departments of Bank Melli Iran emphasized the need for maintaining and protecting the eye-catching successes and achievements of the bank.

These experts and senior managers identified the opportunities, requirements and threats in line with planning to design and compile the next year’s new objectives and concepts.

The senior managers and directors of the bank also discussed the strength and weaknesses of the bank.

During the meeting, the managers of the bank emphasized the need for integrating systems of the bank, reducing the outstanding and obligatory facilities, classifying customers, increasing the advertisement of products and services of the bank, pioneering role of the bank in the country’s banking network.

On the sidelines of organizing the seminar, Amir-Masoud Razazan the Deputy CEO of Bank Melli Iran (BMI) for Financial Affairs was the first speaker who said the process of gaining profitability in the service-rendering organizations like Bank Melli Iran is due to the following two factors: 1- designing product and offering quality after-sales services and marketing affairs.

He then pointed to the high capacities and capabilities of branches of Bank Melli Iran across the country and stated that branches of the bank can establish necessary cooperation and interaction, gaining customers’ satisfaction, attracting the new financial resources, acquiring commission incomes as well as reducing costs can play a leading role in profitability of the bank.

He termed the existence of integration and coordination between the BMI’s branches ‘as necessary’ and expressed hope that suitable ways will be paved for yielding income and developing activities of the bank more than before through the up-to-date, high-quality, proper and favorable production and design, competiveness of the services and products of the bank based on the simple and optimal processes in accordance with the requirements of the customers and selling them by staff of the bank in the bank branches.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Razazan considered the development of the digital banking as the most important strategic concepts of the bank and added that performance and coordination of colleagues is effective in line with achieving the strategic objectives and programs of the bank.

In this Conference, a specialized Working Group as well as presentation of a model of evaluation on the performance and activities of the bank was held with the participation of experts and directors of the affiliated branches of Bank Melli Iran.

Participants in this prestigious Conference exchanged their views through submitting their constructive proposals.

It should be noted that the experts who established widespread, constructive and effective interaction with the Strategic Management and Research Department General of Bank Melli Iran bank were appreciated.
